The services of the Spain Visa Center in Moscow are currently only available for applicants submitting their respective documents in person, or via a close relative bearing documentary proof of kinship (no copies accepted). A new regulation has been issued by the Spanish Ministry of Health, dealing with the health measures to be implemented and concerning the travellers arriving in Spain. In this regard, it is mandatory for prospective travellers to know about the following:

From 2nd February 2020 the EU Directive 2019/1155 of European Parliament and Council of Europe comes into effect, modifying the Directive CE 810/2009 which establishes Common Visa Code.
The visa application must be made not earlier than 6 months prior to the travel date, and seamen – 9 months prior to the travel date. In case of valid Schengen visa application must be made 6 months prior to expiration date.
Please, note that you need to apply for a visa at least 15 calendar days prior to your intended travel date.
In exceptional cases (travels on humanitarian grounds or some professional trips) the Consulate will be accepting applications for urgent visas. Please, send request to the Consulate at email@example.com. This service is not applicable to tourist visa.

We draw your attention that for submitting documents, it is necessary to schedule an appointment for the Visa Application Center on the website.
The submission of applications in Consulate General of Spain and in Spain Visa Application Centre must take place previous appointment. For security reasons, all applicants must show a printed copy of the appointment letter at the entrance. You must schedule an appointment for each applicant, including children endorsed in parent's passport.
